My second repulsive image is of a bowl of prunes. Looking at this picture, I get very turned off and it ruins my appetite. The color as well as the slimy, wet look adds to the idea of it being repulsive.
ewww, prunes!! I think that you captured the blackish color tone of these nasty fruits. The light hits themin the right areas so the shiny texture is exaggerated. I also like how you put the can in the background to create more interest in the photo.
I really like this image. i like the texture of the prunes. i think that be careful in using texts in images, it can ruin a picture. however, i think you did a good job utitlizing it in this photo. I also think that your camera probably has a macro setting[?], which would help show even more texture within the prunes, and blur the box in the back. overall, good compostition though. nice work. :]
Think about different ways that you could've taken this image. Did you need the box (that says prunes) to convey what the photo is about? Would the prunes be just as "repulsive" if the box wasn't there?
